Part of the DEFENSIVE STRUCTURES series, an on-going project that represents exploring of urban architecture, phenomenon of loneliness and absence of human beings within the city, trough different art media, and this time in form of photography, with inevitable digital manipulation. Emphasizing and repeating of segments of architectural compositions, the feeling of alienation is intensified, and ever-present, material and tangible solitude is accentuated. The buildings are showing up, unexpectedly, like ghosts are conquering the space, and it doesn’t matter anymore whether they are real or imagined, what matters is that they are annulling the human presence and becoming self sufficient.
