Marilia Gruenwaldt is a brazilian artist,researcher and cultural activist, interested in poetic visual language and media aspects, and exhibitions and lectures in companies, about art and culture to employees, directors and partners. Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Sao Paulo, specializing in conservation of cultural assets. UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2009, exposing their work in Tokyo, Bratislava and Milan. Exhibits at Sao Paulo Biennial Foundation, along with other videographers produced the first program of Video Art in Brazilian TV to TV Cultura and TV Gazeta, produces and exposes Core Multimedia culminating with the 1st International Exhibition of Media with the participation of 40 countries. Makes the first art exhibition at the Sao Paulo Metro with other artists. Currently working with the encaustic, photocopying, photography and computer. Her next exhibition, called Bordaduras, will be in September 2014 in ICG-Germanic Cultural Institute in Niteroi, Rio de Janeiro
