    BIO

Afolabi Caleb, popularly known as CalebArt is a Nigerian artist, born on the 25th January, 1999 to the family of Mr. And Mrs. Afolabi from Osun State, Nigeria. CalebArt was born and bred in Lagos State of Nigeria where he started and completed his basic education at Shebah Nursery & Primary school, went on to complete his secondary education at Fitjoy College, Iju and presently studying Civil engineering at Federal Polytechnic Ilaro in Ogun state. The fine art was to CalebArt a safe haven and an avenue to express and give life to his imagination. Despite being a student of science in secondary School, CalebArt held on to his passion for the art so much that his parent noticed and encourage him to enroll as an apprentice at Femzy Art World after his secondary education in 2015. This passion has won him a spot on the Icreate Africa Skill Fest competition award under the art category. CalebArt works with graphite, charcoal and black pencils to draw realistic images of people, animal and objects. He also works with oil colours and acrylic but has more emphasis on black and white drawings. His recent art pieces include Crying Black Eye, In safe hands, The Young mind and other commissioned works. His art pieces are poised to showcase the beauty of nature because to CalebArt, art is beyond pencil strokes and shading techniques, it’s a way of life and a great tool for communication.
