Letting Go

This is a silk painting of a woman tossing her plans down from a tree. She is basically surrendering plans for her life and just "letting go" and letting life just carry on.     

Silk painting is a technique that I love.  I draw with a resist on white silk and once it has dried I can then paint within the lines of the resist with silk paint.  I was awarded the title "Master Silk Painter" by Silk Painters International.
