Through my characters, which I have named "The Mooziarfs", I emphasize the complexity inherent in human beings. This series of acrylic paintings depicts the sometimes comical situations I'm personally confronted with. The result is an entire family whose bright colors accentuate the duality between joyful comedy and the reality of our existence.
"This Mooziarf loves flowers. He decided to live among them. Unfortunately for him, the other flowers found that he smelled terribly bad."
In this painting, I explore the idea of one's place in the world. Is it truly ours, and how do we occupy it? Like this Mooziarf, who isn't a flower but wants to live with them, even though it's not his place, and the flowers know it.
