    BIO

After completing my MTS study in drawing signs at Boxtel in 1981, I started as a freelance illustrator. Then I started a printing office. After a few years I stopped drawing because of lack of time.

Now I have found more time and peace to do more with my creativity.

My paintings often contain a guideline of my thoughts on specific topics such as the soul, violence, oppression, faith, innocence etc.

I have more than enough inspiration, which "flows" into me all day long. I try to understand themes that I do not understand or can not contain. These subjects come to me as building blocks at a given moment in a very visual way. These "building blocks" form the basis of my design. The subjects of my paintings constantly keep me in "hostage", even during painting, so to speak.

My paintings are a "Never Ending Story" for me.

    Child Soldier

Chanceless children used as cannon fodder. Out of the scorched earth of war violence, innocent children's hands arise, grabbing to the light. The children are powerless and search for the light, search for possibilities, asking for help.
