Artist Statement

Vilmos Huber (hubervili) 

There where times when I thought that painting is a nice hobby of mine. And later came  when I realized, it is a lot more than that.. Art is my life. I grew up in Hungary. In 1987 I left Europe to find my new home int the United States Of America.

I worked on my own style as an impressionist. I use oil on canvas or panel. In  2005 I had moved back to Hungary. I paint and participate in many fields of art. In the past few years I painted a lot and written poetrys. By now I call my stile „””PAINTheSOUL””

I organised a group on Facebook in 2010 for artists - painters mostly, called 'TEHETSÉGES ALKOTÓK MAGYARORSZÁGA'("TEAM") - TALENTED HUNGARIAN ARTISTS, to help them getting publicity and recognition:

This group has over 1500 Hungarian artists and supporters today and has several ongoing events for artist to introduce and present themselves through their art. 

I also started an art-group in Sopron, Hungary for my hometown artists. It’s called SOPRONI MŰVÉSZETI TÁRSASÁG     ( ARTIST OF SOPRON)

The purpose of establishing this group is similar to the previously mentioned „TEAM”-but on a much smaller and more down to earth scale:

Art is my life…

I express my feelings and thoughts in drawing, painting and writing.

I don’t bend for favors or trend, always honest and outspoken in life and on canvas. I learned to think big and fallow through.
