Hope

Hope is one of three works from the Masks series. The work was made in a mixed technique using different fibers. The painting is made on canvas, sewn by hand and machine using hat ribbons and a plaster mask. The title of the work refers to the colors, which are calm and subdued. Hope talks about all the hopes that a person carries within him: hope for love, better work, life without wars, stress, hunger, disease, hope for a better tomorrow.
