Artista d’Europa 2025 - Venice
In December 2025, Dariusz Witold Mierzwa participated in the prestigious Artista d’Europa 2025 Gala in Venice, held at the historic Scuola Grande di San Giovanni Evangelista - one of the oldest and most significant cultural and artistic institutions in the city.
During the event, his painting “Via Dolorosa di Gaza” was presented as part of the international exhibition dedicated to contemporary European art. The work received particular attention for its emotional intensity, symbolic language and humanitarian reflection on war, suffering and the condition of contemporary humanity.
The gala gathered artists, curators, critics and representatives of the international art scene, creating a space for dialogue between contemporary artistic expression and the historical cultural heritage of Venice. The presentation of Mierzwa’s work within such an iconic Venetian setting emphasized the universal and metaphysical dimension of his artistic language.
The event was organized in collaboration with Italian contemporary art institutions and international curatorial networks connected with PitturiAmo and Arte Spazio Tempo.
