WHO M I?

To say the least, I'm Akash Mendiratta, a photographer.

To say more, I'm someone who was born and brought up in Delhi, and someone whose life changed dramatically when he bought a Nikon D800 out of sheer interest in photography. Life took a more dramatic turn with the entry of Dr. O P Sharma (Chairman Emeritus - India International Photographic Council), a pioneer in photography. Interest soon became passion, and passion turned to calling. With the kind of dedication I put in each angle, I'm sure this profession will drive me insane someday. 

MY APPROACH TO THE CRAFT:

I don’t photograph subjects. I photograph the way they make me feel. Admittedly, it’s a bit of a strange concept. But it’s honest – and it’s the best way to describe my approach to the craft. 

I wrestle with every image I shoot. I assume perfection is possible and I want to bring that out in every picture. If that’s all you know about me, it’s enough to say that you know me very well.

I've worked for different brands and business owners to:

- Capture breathtaking angles of their products
- Increase sales with my pixel perfect editing skills

Owing to my athletic build, I'm also exploring opportunities in Action, Adventure & Wildlife Photography.

WHAT KIND OF RESULTS DOES MY WORK GET?

* Increased sales for a fashion retail brand on their eCommerce portal by 650%
* Captured over 300 shots of newborns and toddlers for an upcoming retail startup in baby products 
* Helped a gym friend turn into an online sensation by doing a free photoshoot for him that got published on a major fitness website
