Arash Safaei (b. 1983, Shiraz) is an Istanbul-based painter with a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering. After graduation, he trained and worked as a make-up artist in cinema and television and has also taught at art academies. Always passionate about painting since childhood—having created over fifty works—he turned to it full-time in recent years. Since 2024 he has been developing the Fading Dignity series, a collection of portraits exploring human fragility and fragmented relationships, yet lit by a persistent glow of hope.
