Isabel Lindley Cintra Torres was born in 1952 in Portugal, lives and works in Paço de Arcos (Lisbon), Portugal.

Autodidact, she finds in various art forms, such as in drawing, painting and sculpture the means to express her ideas and project them from reality and from life itself, in simple, complex and /or abstract way. She also works in Enamel, Pirography and Xylography.

In painting, intense colors and precise lines convey essentially a magical style, packed with striking simplicity and symbolism.

In sculpture, she embodies the spirit and feeling of her work, leaving the hands to be an extension of the expression of romantic ideals, social ties and social criticism.
