I am interested in associations, symbolisms and the way we interpret and see things all around us.
Within my paintings I explore a sense of fragmentation with its holes and gaps, where images are often disconnected yet form individual meaning.
My current work explores the seductive elements of painting and how they create impact and form a relationship with the viewer.
I use processes of layering and editing, constructing fragmented images of objects and things which I record primarily through lens based media combined with digital manipulation which are finally brought into existence through painting.
