Cirrus Structure

Mikael Sandblom - Canada

A circular iris motif, partly composed of a weather map, hovers over a background of cirrus clouds and a subtle rectangular grid. Fragile architectural fragments, rendered in thin white lines, float downward like clouds. Layered forms and shifting cues create images that never fully settle, inviting the viewer to notice their own mind at work as it constructs meaning. Digitally composed from photography, illustration, and 3D models, the image is printed on coated aluminum.
