I am a professional photographer based in Swansea, South Wales. I studied Photojournalism at Swansea Metropolitan university. I have had a number of exhibitions of my photographic work both locally and internationally. My work looks at various political, cultural and environmental issues. I primarily work with digital cameras and use digital technology to create my images. I push my equipment to its limits in order to create various effects including noise and distortion. I try to push my equipment to it's limits in order to create unusual effects and generally try to avoid using image editing software. I try to create unique digital images rather than emulating film photography. My influences include: Richard Misrach, Paul Seawright, Paul Graham, Michael Light and Rut Blees Luxemburg.
