Raquel Finol born in Maracaibo, Venezuela, in November 1963, and graduated from the University of Zulia (LUZ) Architect in April 1989.

Raquel worked as an architect from 1990-2006, at the Government of the State of Zulia, Department of Public Works Project where he worked as a designer and inspector of construction sites in the areas of security and defense, health, government offices, Religion, Recreation and finally in Education. In each I reflect her art through paintings and sculptures. The work done during this period earned national recognitions.

In 2006, she emigrated to the United States to seek political asylum. Grateful to the host country decides to represent participating in various art and photography contests, being received important national and international awards and recognitions.

Her art describes it as innate because her passion for the developed since childhood, capturing their creativity in different expressions, formats and techniques, evoking the special experiences of your life, recreating the view of those who know and admire by her talent, which transmits power, balance, serenity and peace.

The themes and colors used by the artist emanate culture and the colors of her hometown, characterized in that the "Tierra del Sol Amada" and the warmth of its people, of whom I was born, grow and develop spiritually and professionally.
