I was birth on 1976 September, the 13^rd, and since a child I love the art, painting, model-building.

I graduated in Egyptology MA2 at the University of Pisa, and the year after I began to study and follow certain classes of the "Digital Humanities" MA2, where computer sciences and IT are applied to human sciences: such academic experience efforts my firm belief about the importance of using computer science and digital applications within artistic, linguistic, historic and literary domains. In 2011, after concluded classes and experiences which much interested me, I've decided to focus my studies about "Languages and Cultures of Ancient and Modern Orient", an MA2 curriculum at the University of Florence.

After my travel in China of 2005, I've consecrated my painting studies to traditional calligraphy, along with Chinese language, the art of seals, and traditional Chinese painting. I then adopted watercolors and pencil as my main mediums for my Carnet de Voyage, while I use to prefer oil painting for works of differs approaches.

About my way of oil painting, I fell I had two main encounters which widely influenced me: first of all the study of what I use to call "Neo-impressionism" of American "Cape Code School of Art", founded by master Charles Hawthorne, whose inheritance endured thanks to Lois Griffel and the other disciples. Second was the discovery of Sennelier Oil Pastels, which permit me a huge freedom in pictorial expression.

Thanks to recurring travels to China, I had the possibility of meet the art of some traditional painters. Among them I love 陈容 Chen Rong (1235–1262), 石涛Shitao (1642-1707) and 八大山人 Bada Shanren (1626-1705), as the same time I love some contemporaries as 徐惟辛 Xu Weixin (1958 ) who I lucky met at the Ren Min University of Beijing in the Summer of 2011.

From 2007 I started to frequent the Atelier of Marzia Pieri, where I had the possibility to deep in the use of crayons and colored pencils. In the same year I could start to study watercolors according to the teachings of master Azad Nakaeli, who entranced me with his unique style and his way of using colors "very-ground, milled as good coffee".

Finally (but not last) meeting with Stefano Faravelli, first began through his Carnets de Voyage, then materialized in the 2010 Summer traveling with him in Riomaggiore. Such experience deeply influenced the way I think about my Carnet de Voyage and my Carnet of Study. The latter, they're such a kind of monographs where I paint and write about one theme, as for instance the work I painted for the 9 Dragon Scroll, or the other dedicated to the Caravans Routes of the Western Desert of Egypt.
