My work is an exploration into the possibilities within abstract picture making: Investigating the authenticity of expression, spontaneity and the considered mark.

I aim to create a fixed encounter between the marks and forms within my work, trapping them mid movement - a state of flux. The viewer should read these marks as having a kinetic potential, which continues in an imaginative sphere. Making connections between mark and object.

I am an associate lecturer at Oxford Brookes University and tutor at the Ashmolean Museum, and currently undertaking a Masters Degree at Camberwell College for Art; University of the Arts London.
