Pond 一潭水

I will always remember a field of sea I passed through in Greece last summer.

It looks like a pond in my mind, surrounded by mountains on all sides, with only a small outlet connecting it to the outer sea. The water is crystal clear. Urchins are scattered across the bed, while little fishes swim around occasionally. Several boats are docked along the shore.

This glass of water is serene but lively. It contains everything balanced with harmony without disturbing one another.

That’s the pond of water, a steadfast pool of water.
