The contact to the heard of things, the emerging of the essentials, the actual human driving forces are topics, which I deal with in my artistic work. With a certain childlike curiosity, with wonder, with fascination but also with dismay I observe what exists in human beings, what people are capable of. In painting and in drawings, the identity of people enact a recurring part and their search of different shapes of existence.

In a structure of space and interacting figures I develop forms of landscapes and animals as a metapher for what is, maybe, in the unconscious or appear through dreams. Sexuality with its various manifestations and its driving forces as a part of our identiy is an area which I try to  penetrate in my artistic work. The ink, with its own luminosity and transparent shades, has become an essential medium in painting in recent years.
