AN EXPERIMENTAL PROFESSIONAL ARTS PRACTITIONER
Andy Petrusevics is a contemporary visual artist, living and working in Adelaide, born in 1961, who works across all media forms, most recently producing film work. His design was the Adelaide Fringe Festival poster competition winner in 2013. His professional practice dates back to 1983.

SCRIPT DEVELOPMENT AND FILM PRODUCTION CREATIVE TEAM
Since 1987 Andy has written and directed performance art movies, some of which have included 14 performers. Invariably these works have been shown as installation presentations in art galleries and a few have had TV screenings.

As a writer/director he has produced many low-budget short films, some of which have screened on Foxtel's Aurora chanel. In 2012 he produced "Tesla" about the inventor of "free energy", working with exciting actors and performance artists such as Nathan Porteus, Steve Wigg and Simon Lancione. In previous movies he has directed Andreas Sobik, Michaela Cantwell and Stephen Sheehan.

Regarding this proposal to partner with the Marion Cultural Centre in the production of a new half hour movie, the work will be produced by

Hexagram Films, who have the appropriate liability insurance. The proposal is to work with a select group of innovative actors and crew at times appropriate to the scheduling requirements of the centre and in consultation with the theatre manager, with the agreement that the MCC will be acknowledged in the credits.

ARTIST, LECTURER, DESIGNER, PERFORMER
He graduated from the South Australian School of Art in 1984 with a BA and Grad Diploma in Fine Art. He has produced and exhibited contemporary art in Australia and Japan since 1983 and is in many private and gallery collections in Australia, including the Art Gallery of South Australia and the National Gallery in Canberra. His work has been exhibited in numerous group and solo shows at the CACSA, "buzz, fizz, pop", 2011 and the AEAF, "ebelief", 2009. Andy has shown in the Adelaide Festival twice, in particular in the Adelaide Bienniale in 2006 with the installation work "ethink and laminex Malevich" and has performed in the Adelaide Fringe many times, creating the character OTTO for the Weimar Room's production of "Berlin Cabaret" in 2002, where he performed and acted as creative design director within the collective. Andy was the primary designer in the successful public art commission, built by SPUD based in Port Adelaide, of 4 large swimmers, installed at the Marion Swimming Centre in 2011.

EXPERIENCE AS A KEY CREATIVE IN THE TELEVISION INDUSTRY
Commercially he has worked in the television industry for 15 years, as a Graphic Designer at ABC TV in Adelaide and his work has appeared in ABC News, George Negus Tonight, Behind the News, The Cook and the Chef and Poh's Kitchen on the ABC in Australia and Nexus which screens in the Asia Pacific region on the Australia Network. Andy has lectured in digital media at UNISA and TafeSA. He produces digital stories for the mental health, disabled and education sector as a director and editor.
