Lien-cheng Wang is a media artist and educator currently based in Taipei, Taiwan. His art and research involve installations and real-time audio-visual performances. His early installation works explored materiality and the relationship between Taiwan and globalization, while his recent projects focus on issues of machine-mediated society. In his audio-visual performances, he specializes in using algorithmic processes to generate sound and visuals in real time. His works have been exhibited and performed at Ars Electronica (Austria), New Technological Art Award (Belgium), Les Journées GRAME (France), MADATAC (Spain), Digital Art Festival Taipei (Taiwan), etc.
