My name is Mariana and I'm an artist from Lisbon who works mainly in pen, watercolors, ink, acrylics, oils, engraving and ceramics. I also do some illustration.
My favourite subject is people and I'm interested in capturing the way they interact with the world, other people, themselves and their surroundings. Also the relationship between the individual and the collective as well as life's illusions and constructs.

I've participated in a number of group exhibitions including one in the National Museum of Tile Art and another in the National Museum of Comtemporary art. I've also had a solo exhibition and have participated in a few illustration projects including a book of illustrated poetry
