Pietro Catarinella was born in Rome, Italy, in 1983. After achieving a MA in Architecture and a course of photojournalism at ‘Scuola Romana di Fotografia’ (both in Rome), he moved to London to pursuit his studies in Fine Art Photography. There he gets the ‘MA Photography’ at the ‘Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design’ (UAL) developing ‘Data Traffic’: a highly experimental art project questioning the contemporary experience of photography in relation to the Internet and to the Virtual Space. He currently has his studio in London where he produces digital prints, screen printed works and installations.
