Roger Mari. Visual artist born in Caracas, Venezuela. As a child he began his artistic training with Art Teacher Nelly Sanchez Arevalo in the late 1980s.  Later in life becoming a student in the studio of Maestro Abdón J. Romero and Jesús Emmanuel Villareal, on an atelier setting, perfecting and developing his own technique in portrait and figure. Recently he attend Etching with Maestro Agustin Rolando Rojas.

Roger Mari's work highlights a detailed technique in the figures, through his work he transmits his passion for humanity and deep concern for the inequalities caused by authoritarianism. Mari, from a very young age, has also had an inclination towards abstract and figurative sculptures, in which he uses both as a mirror to reflect the humanity that is within each of us.
