While visiting an exhibition hall in France, my attention was captured not by the artworks on display but by a spiral staircase made entirely of curves. I was fascinated by its flowing lines, free from the rigidity of straight edges. This piece focuses on a portion of that staircase, capturing the excitement and mystery of heading toward an unknown space. Amid the suspense of not knowing what awaits around the bend, the curves of the blazing sun's heat and drifting clouds intertwine.
