Primary Man

Primary man is both the man and the print. 

I work on the juxtaposition of inkjet printing and silkscreen, one being tight and precise and the other open and welcoming of errors and hiccups.

The image that inspired this piece is based on a picture of man I had just met in a bar. He struck me as deeply and instightfully primary in his conversation and demeanor. And, as luck will have it when an artist notices, the colors around this man seemed to go well with his personality. Jared is a primary man in a sea of primary colors.
