Anna Taraman (Elena Prikhodko on her passport) was born in 1962 in St. Petersburg (then Leningrad). She has a higher university technical education. Lives and works in St. Petersburg. Since the age of 25, she has been writing poetry, is the author of several books of poetry for children. Anna published in the online magazine Russian Globe (No. 8, 2008), and is a graduate of the International Poetry Competition dedicated to Joseph Brodsky. (Germany, 2011). She is nominated for the Heritage Literary Award in 2025, established by the Russian Union of Writers in cooperation with the Russian Imperial House. Since 2024, she has been independently engaged in graphics and painting, writing in pastels and acrylics. Anna Taraman is a participant and diploma winner of eight international exhibitions and competitions of contemporary art in 2025, including at the Boomer Gallery, London. Several of her works have been reviewed and approved by Lee Sharrock. Anna Taraman is an Honorary member of the I.K.Aivazovsky Academy of Fine Arts.
