GIUSEPPE PAPALEO. He was born in Catanzaro on February 15, 1977. After a technical training (expert technical industrial) whereby develops a penchant for research, he enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Catanzaro in 2000, graduating in decoration under the direction of the master Paolo Pancari Doria. The thesis BergonZONE on Alessandro Bergonzoni (artist and actor) brought him the full marks with distinction and the dignity of print. The meeting with the sculptor Salvo Salvato, with whom made a close cooperation and friendship, was important for his artistic training. He works as stagecraft and set design for the project Doing theater - The school (Romeo and Juliet, directed by Lindo Nudo and The Dragon, directed by Manfredi Rutelli), during the academic training, at the Teatro Stabile di Calabria directed by Geppy Gleijeses. He worked in tourist villages and for the local events Krotoniadi and Meeting del Mare as a set designer for some years. He opened the art workshop Riflessi Blu, specialized in the production of raku potteryart, at the end of the above mentioned experiences. Simultaneously with this work, he carries out  the training work at extra-curricular projects in schools. He obtained a degree in experimental visual arts and performing arts with the master Luigi Magli, at the Academy of Fine Arts of Catanzaro, in 2007. He is represented by the itinerant gallery PER CAPITA since 2010. In 2011 takes part in collective relational art EMI.Li.O V.AVA.REL.LA (acronym of Eminent Freedom Organization True Avantgarde Relational Art Laboratory), named after its founder. He lives and works in Crotone.
