I was born in Vancouver Canada, where at a young age I was introduced to art by my grandmother. Her passion became my passion and I have always felt a great interest in showing women in society, how they "should be" or what our ideal of a perfect woman would be. However I am now focusing on showing women as very strong and defined people, each painting has a personality, and weakness is not a part of it. The use of color and contrast are very important to me as well as telling a story, whether it be yours or mine, it's a painting you can identify with.
