Krzysztof Iwanowicz (born 1967, Piła) studied at the Faculty of Interior Design and Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław (currently the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts) from 1987 to 1989. He lives and works in Piła.

The artist primarily works in abstract painting. In his artistic practice, he focuses on working in cycles, developed based on a multi-stage process of building the painting's surface. The works are created primarily using acrylic on paper, using emulsion and spray, through the application, erasure, and interference with existing layers.

Abstraction is treated as a form of creation through matter, and painting as a record of decisions and tensions revealed during the creative process. The artist avoids narrative ambiguity, leaving the viewer room for individual interpretation.
