Sarah Gillmore was born in Edmonton Alberta Canada. Working primarily with ink and watercolor pencil she has done earlier works and commissions in graphite as well. Through the years she studied independently, researching various techniques and tutorials to implement into her creations.  While not formally trained as an artist, her enduring passion for her craft has driven her to explore new mediums and continually expand her knowledge and skill. Currently, Sarah is working on a new series of paintings inspired by her spirit of activism; this new collection explores relationships between people and the world(s) they live in.
