B.23 October 1993, Ahsan Asghar is a Pakistani Lahore based artist. His work is a constant inquiry of image as a subject. Using images, videos and objects Ahsan’s works have in common the artist’s fascination with obsolescence and the relationship between photographs and the objects they document. Exploring the idea of short-lived absence, different branches of memory, displacement, and reality of an image in different time and space.

His works have been exhibited in Alhamra Art gallery Lahore (2016), PNCA Islamabad (2017), He has worked with LBF (2016), Anne marie schimmel haus and Nat Geo photographer (Mathew paley) in 2016.

His works has been published in numerous magazines and catalogs.

He's has practiced classical music on flute from 2014 to 2016 from Alhamra arts councils and continued on his on.

Ahsan currently works and lives in Lahore, Pakistan.
