The Illusion of Protection

In this work, protection functions less as a practical condition than as a psychological construct through which human beings attempt to endure anxiety. The transparent structure surrounds the body, yet it never achieves complete separation or stability, instead revealing a paradoxical state in which protection and exposure coexist simultaneously.

Its empty interior and temporarily sustained form suggest the incompleteness of existence itself. Human beings continuously construct structures to sustain themselves, yet these structures are often closer to illusions built upon desire and lack than to anything truly secure. The work questions how the desire for protection simultaneously produces anxiety and isolation, and how existence itself rests upon fragile and unstable psychological foundations.
