"Five Hundred Nails" is a powerful, dramatic sculpture that explores the thin line between ancient spiritual ecstasy and the modern obsession with wellness culture. The artwork reinterprets the traditional eastern practice of the Sadhu bed, but with a dangerous twist: the distance between the nails is intentionally increased. By reducing the points of support, the ritual is stripped of its safety, leading to severe physical pain, blood, and deep depression.

The breakthrough happens when the broken body finds salvation not in spiritual enlightenment, but in a simple foam mattress. This creates a brilliant, ironic paradox: a commercial product of modern wellness and comfort delivers the "enlightened dream that religious suffering failed to achieve. Visually, the installation is a battlefield of contrasts. The cold, aggressive army of sharp steel nails stands against the chaotic, vibrantly colorful canvases in the background. It is a striking visual metaphor for human vulnerability, the limits of our bodies, and the tragicomic irony of looking for synthetic peace in a painful world.
