Born in Kabanjahe, August 5, 1972, Married and blessed with 3 children, completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts, Prog. Graphic Design, State University of Medan in 2000. Started to pursue the art of calligraphy when he was at Madrasah Tsanawiyah and continued to Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Pematang Siantar. In the course of calligraphy, he represented North Sumatra at MTQN in Jambi in the Musabaqah Khattil Quran branch in the Decoration Category, representing students at MTQN Students in Kalimantan and Banda Aceh.

When he was a student of Fine Arts, Medan State University, he received a scholarship from the Indonesian Fine Arts Foundation and was the presidium of the Indonesian Fine Arts Student Congress at ITB Bandung. In the journey of art, pursuing the world of calligraphy becomes part of the journey of art. The works that have been made include Calligraphy Carving along 105 mx 90 m which stretches to date at the Medan State University (UNIMED) Campus Mosque.
