I’ve always been drawn to images that feel a little like fragments of a dream - familiar, but not quite. The kind of images that stay in your mind even when you don't fully understand why.

 

I create intuitively. Sometimes I start with a clear idea. Other times, it begins with a feeling, a shape, or a small fragment of an image. As I work, new ideas and symbols can appear and change the direction of the piece. Sometimes I understand what a work is about only after it is finished.

 

My work moves between the human body, inner states, memory, absence, and imagined spaces.

 

I’m interested in what happens when something internal takes on a physical form.

 

I don't think every image needs to explain itself.

 

Some things are meant to be felt first.
