Mueen Akhtar was born in the year in Jhansi (U.P.), India. He has completed graduation in commerce but childhood talent turned him to study in Visual art. He basically belongs to Jhansi but he had been for a couple of years in Kashmir and north parts of India. The splendid scene and beauty of Kashmir clearly reflect in his watercolour Landscape. 

He is a self taught artist who loves to paint landscape and abstract art in all medium. But recently he is busy in focusing his work on landscape in watercolour. His main theme of work is landscape but he is also working on some different topic like aeroplane and airport. His aeroplanes series is very different and a good work to preview.

He took parts many group shows and Artist camps in Jhansi, Gwalior, Ghaziabad, New Delhi and Jaipur. Soon his works are going to be exhibited in Mumbai, Nepal and Bhutan. Mueen Akhtar bagged many awards & exhibited his works. Most of his paintings are watercolour and acrylic based. His sketching and drawings with the pens and ink are also a work to watch.
