Alberto Gazzari starts his artistic path right away during his academic days; his works about the "minimal gate of perception" lead him at the beginning to a tantalising reinterpretation of the pop art, using recognised brands of cigarettes as  a starting point for a trip into the 101 rooms of the viewers ( "Lucky Strike serie " 1980~1984, endorsed with a prize by Marisa Vescovo ). After a diversion exploring the iper realism while he was teaching the airbrush  techniques, he sank through his own nightmares using the airbrush as a child, free handed to remove any mask from his thoughts in a sort of "automatic writing " (Lubna the witch & Co,1985~1987). Since 1999 he fell in love with his Mac starting a journey of esploration in the fifth art; mainly working on mashups refining a tecnique of stratifications of thin layers,firstable just predating "ready made" moving images from that collective inconscious repository that is youtube, than adding short 3D looping animations and music made by himself. In 2013 he freezes some frames of footage making multilayered digital paintings closing a circle to return to his starting point.
