Alisa Teletović (1974, Banja Luka) is a Bosnian/Australian artist whose expressive figurative and abstract works unfold as poetic journeys into identity, belonging, and spirituality. Her canvases are layered with emotion—at once raw and lu- minous—evoking a visual enchantment that speaks directly to the heart. Through a language of color, gesture, and form, Teletović transforms personal and collective memory into a universal dialogue of resilience, love, and hope. Educated in Australia, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts and an Advanced Diploma in Electronic Design and Interactive Me- dia, she developed her career internationally before re-estab- lishing her practice in Sarajevo. Her work has been exhibited widely in Strasbourg, London, Vienna, Ljubljana, Zagreb, Budapest, and across the Middle East, including Dubai, where she twice served as Art Ambassador of Bosnia-Herzegovina. In 2024, she was appointed SDG Through Art Ambassador in Sarajevo, as part of a global initiative leading toward New York in 2030. Recognized as one of the leading female artists from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Teletović is deeply committed to supporting young women in the arts through mentoring, workshops, and dialogue. She is the founder of the BEA As- sociation for Art and Culture and the author of projects such as Colorscape Alisateletovic (wearable art) and Self-Portrait of the Soul (art therapy). Her work affirms art not only as a mirror of the self but also as a transformative force of love and empowerment, illuminating the possibility of healing and change.
