Bruna's Biography

Bruna Caniglia was born in Catania on the 4th of December 1985.

In 2003 she obtained a  diploma in Art from  the artistic secondary school "Filippo Brunelleschi" in Acireale (Ct).

In 2007 she attended  academic courses at the Academy of Art and Restoration Abadir in S.Agata li Battiati (Ct). She graduated with a BA in February 2011.

During this time , guided by the artists Piero  Zuccaro and Giuseppe Puglisi, she started developing a style of painting characterized by particular attention to colour and light. The style continues to evolve with careful thought and attention to detail. The resultant work explores detail and figurative aspects whose texture turn-out to be outline, thin but intensely real.
