Born in 18th January 1990 in Ghana, kumasi, Ebenezer Amoako Quophi started drawing and painting at a very tender age with the encouragement of his parents.
He was educated at the Holy international primary and Kings College where he offered visual arts. Quophi works in all media such as oil paints, acrylics, water colour. In drawing he uses all media available – pencil, pen and ink, charcoal, pastels, wax and smoke and others.
Generally the themes for Quophi’s works are inspired by nature to be precise everything around him. His style ranges from realism to abstraction, majoring in realism. His paintings are characterised by contrasting colours. They emphasize all important values of composition for example, form, proportion, colour gradation and perspective.
Ebenezer Quophi enjoys painting illusions (Trompe L’Oeil), and also has other hobbies like,Visiting to butterflies sanctuary, Surfing the internet,fixing of faulty computers, Land Scaping, Interior Designing, listening and Music Conducting.
