Laurent Vaury was born in 1965 in Haute-Vienne.

His career, from Guadeloupe to Romania via Paris and Nice, reflects his commitment to discovering the world in general and the others in particular, and feeds his work with varied experiences. The diversity of his encounters makes up the pieces of a puzzle found in the form and content of his pictures. The result is a work in bright colors with an extremely purified but still suggestive drawing.
