Nicolás Guzmán is a multidisciplinary visual artist born in 1983 in the city of Xalapa, Veracruz (Mexico)

He graduated from the University of Veracruz with a degree in Plastic Arts in 2006

With a vast array of individual and collective exhibitions including Japan, Cambodia, Germany, England and United States, his career has focused on creating pieces that are based in exploring the semantic possibilities of each one of the objects he applies to his multidisciplinary work which includes painting, sculpture, graphics, installation and live media performance.

In a constant search for transformation, his work transitions between different materials and subject matter which often includes abstract elements and iconic imagery that are meant to create a dialogue between time and space, based on a conceptual technique. The juxtaposition of visual elements is a resource that has been applied throughout the creation of his pieces, it is enhanced by his experience with the use of color and the appliance of different methods of creating visual arts.
