A well traveled artist, currently based in Rosebank, Johannesburg. A young self taught artist and graphic designer who specializes mostly in digital abstract art, contemporary, graffiti, sculpting and collage. Raised around the world Odirile’s influences are based off of the many cultures, lifestyles and religions she was exposed to. Never fitting into any box. As an artist she believes that art is more like a religion, a spiritual journey where insanity meets illusion. She was brought up into a diplomatic household,the mix of having lived around Middle Eastern and European cultures, languages, lifestyles and scenery was far from what she expected but fell in love with it all. Currently she has fully devoted her life to growing herself into the artist she knows she is. Odirile has been fortunate enough to be mentored by the renowned Neo Mahlangu, moulding Ms Makaku into the artist she aspires to be.
