Rhonda grew up on a mill pond in Rye, NY, USA; Her solace It's where she went to mull and just be. It's also where she connected with the natural world. Those years formed the heart of her work that surrounds our connection in terms of science, spirituality and the exchange between the two. Her work reflects universal energy, be it from the most ancient and primal beginnings to the spiritual embodiment that challenges the ethos of modern day existence.

Unable to curb a longing for wild places, clouds, prisms of light, nature spirits, the forest floor, granules of sand, and the elusive shimmer of rhythmic, watery forms are her everyday inspirations. She is energized by pushing color and in an attempt to convey a visual commentary on the scope of our universe and the predictability of nature's unpredictability, her paintings signify a sense of meditative calm amidst the raw cacophony and chaos of today's world. They are her own personal spiritual practice. Whether she's painting plein air or creating in her twinkle-lighted, trance-tune-engulfed studio, everything she expresses is infused with sparkling verve and perhaps a drop of herbal tea or tequila. 

Rhonda shares her time between the mountains of Putney, VT, the hills of Austin, TX, and the waves of Tulum, MX. She is the mother of three, healing arts practitioner, art workshop facilitator / teacher, fun junkie, foodie, alchemist of life, and can often be found barefoot and in the garden.
