Rukiye Garip was born in 1964 in Bartın ,Turkey. She graduated from Gazi university, faculty of painting and graphic design in 1985. After her graduation she lived in Ankara,worked as a designer and continued in Graphic Design .She founded a ceramic workshop with some of her friends and worked in there for two years . In 1989, She was appointed as an art teacher to Adıyaman Technical and Vocational High School for Girls .Then she worked at the some high and secondary school in Adıyaman,Erzincan and Balıkesir.After teaching for 20 years,She retired from Balıkesir Technical and Vocational High School for Girls in 2008 . She gave painting/art courses at Balıkesir Public Education Center for two years.Currently she continues her paintings in her own workshop in Balıkesir/Turkey
