Resillience

“Resilience is something that we all need at the moment. There is a great strength to be found
in understanding both the power and the beauty of nature. The figure in the painting is very much part of her surroundings, she is the siren, the spirit of the lough. In her stance and posture, she appears to show great resilience against an unseen pressure.  She is there to heighten our awareness of the fragility and the beauty, of our surroundings, both of which are deeply intertwined.
