Gaia - Sjemia

The painting shows the personification of Mother Earth - "Gaia - Sjemia". Within the indigenous culture, Gaia is presented as a fertile mother, however I pay particular attention to the mystical aspect, with attributes inspired by the Slavic mythology. By contemplating Mother Earth we can obtain the grace of protection, purification and renewal, as well as happiness and wisdom coupled with a sense of beauty and harmony, portraying this intention during the creative process.
