Ferrarese, 34 anni. Il “papà” di Sfiggy è un ingegnere appassionato del suo lavoro ma desideroso di evadere dal conformismo dalla società e dal consumismo: si sfoga perciò con un personaggio evasivo ed irriverente, sfortunato ma vendicativo che non si prende sul serio e non prende sul serio nemmeno chi è osannato e idolatrato dai più, come dimostrano le irriverenti opere sui grandi maestri della POP-Art.

            Alessio Bolognesi approccia la tela nel 2008 con lo studio del corpo e della sua stilizzazione, cedendo il testimone ad un progetto che tutt’ora lo vede coinvolto intimamente: Sfiggy appunto.

Dopo numerose mostre dislocate sul territorio italiano che hanno fatto discutere giornali e radio per la loro singolarità macabra – prima fra tutte il ritrovamento del fantoccio di Hello Kitty accoltellato al pedibus nel centro di Treviso o quello impiccato sul ponte di Sabaudia da un misterioso “giustiziere” – Alessio ci dà tregua e ci rassicura sul ritrovamento e l’arresto del temibile assassino di cartoons.

La pace dura poco però; il nostro anti-eroe torna a piede libero e se ne perdono le tracce. Nel frattempo diverse persone scompaiono, tutte accomunate da uno strano tatuaggio a forma di…si, proprio lui…Sfiggy: quale mistero si cela dietro queste sparizioni? E’ l’SBI (Sfiggy Bureau of Investigation) ad occuparsi delle indagini aprendo un nuovo e corposo S-File!

Alessio è ad oggi rappresentato dalla MAG di Como, Spazio Bevacqua Panigai di Treviso e Spazio San Giorgio di Bologna; è tra i vincitori del Premio Ora 2012 selezionato dalla Galleria Federica Ghizzoni di Milano. E’ inoltre tra i membri del collettivo Aliens - le forme alienanti del contemporaneo, progetto artistico itinerante a cura di Sergio Curtacci di Frattura Scomposta Art Magazine.

            Sfiggy è un work in progress tanto quanto lo siamo tutti noi: in perenne evoluzione; quindi… cosa ci attenderà ora?

The "father" of Sfiggy is a 34 y.o. guy from Ferrara (Italy); an electronic engineer passionate about his work but eager to escape from conformity by society and consumerism: he’s then unleashed by a character that is evasive and irreverent, unlucky but vengeful, that don’t take seriously himself and even who is praised and idolized by many, as evidenced by the irreverent works about  the great POP-Art masters.
Alessio Bolognesi approaches the canvas in 2008 with the study of the human body stylization, handing then over to a project that still sees him intimately involved: Sfiggy!
After many exhibitions across the territory that have made Italian newspapers and radio to discuss about their macabre singularity - as the discovery of an Hello Kitty puppet stabbed near the bus stop in the downtown of Treviso or the one  hanged on the Sabaudia bridge by a mysterious "murderer" - Alessio gives us respite and reassurance on the arrest of the fearsome cartoons killer.

…but the peace did not last long, our anti-hero back on the loose and does lose track. Meanwhile several people disappear. All of them have a strange tattoo on the skin... yes, that's him ... Sfiggy: what mystery lies behind these disappearances? The SBI (Sfiggy Bureau of Investigation) opened a new S-File and started to investigate!
Alessio is now-a-day represented by the following galleries: MAG (Como - IT), Spazio Bevacqua Panigai (Treviso - IT) and Spazio San Giorgio (Bologna – IT). He is among the winners of Premio Ora 2012, picked by Galleria Federica Ghizzoni (Milano – IT). Alessio is moreover a member of the collective Aliens – Le forme alienanti del contemporaneo, artistic project exhibiting in different locations in Italy and curated by Sergio Curtacci from Frattura Scomposta Art Magazine.
Sfiggy is a work in progress as much as we all are: continuously evolving, so... what now?
